Verseofi, formerly known as Egyptian metal band "Origin", is the realization of a singular, uncompromising artistic vision. Verseofi has evolved into a fully realized one-man melodic metal project. It acts as a bridge between the visceral, driving energy of metal and the intricate, emotive microtones of Middle Eastern musical traditions.

The guitar tracks are performed and recorded entirely by Sherif Tarek. The drums and bass, while not physically performed, are entirely his own compositions; he writes every MIDI note, note-by-note, and utilizes high-quality VSTs to sculpt the rhythm section exactly as he envisions it.
To capture the intricate legatos and quarter-tone microtones of traditional Makam scales, Sherif employs a sophisticated workflow: he first records every symphonic melody organically, then derives AI-assisted layers from those specific performances to achieve elusive, fluid precision. By meticulously infusing, mixing, and reshaping these elements into a cohesive whole, he transcends the limitations of virtual instruments to reach a new standard of emotional realism.
The vocals follow a similar "human-first" philosophy. Recognizing that his own vocal range is not his primary instrument, Sherif records every vocal line himself to capture his exact creative intent, inflection, and emotive phrasing. He then utilizes AI to translate these raw, heartfelt performances into the voice of a consistent, powerful, and emotive vocalist. The entire project is home-recorded, mixed, and mastered with surgical precision to ensure the sonic quality matches the density of the compositions.
